Secure the implementation.
Cryptographic components, acceleration and assessment capabilities for PQ-enabled gateways, lightweight PQ frameworks and hardware security modules.
PQC components & secure communication
Software implementations of ML-KEM and ML-DSA, with optimisation and hardware acceleration, underpin PQ-enabled gateways, lightweight security frameworks and PQ-HSM solutions. Our protocol work includes PQ-TLS, PQ-DTLS and PQ-EDHOC implementations, plus KEM-based EDHOC authentication for constrained devices. Protection against implementation attacks extends to post-quantum and traditional public-key cryptography. New authentication mechanisms and compact-signature options remain subject to ongoing standardisation.
FPGA & reconfigurable accelerators
Design and implementation of FPGA-based modules to accelerate post-quantum cryptographic operations, with side-channel countermeasures. Reconfigurable hardware supports both post-quantum security and efficient edge infrastructure; performance is evaluated for the target platform and workload.
Security for constrained devices
Lightweight architectures, memory-safe design, TPM/HSM integration and real-time operation for embedded systems with limited processing and memory resources. These capabilities support efficient implementations across both technology pillars.
Side-channel vulnerability assessment platform
A platform for collecting traces from hardware/software targets and analysing them with a semi-automated workflow to identify side-channel vulnerabilities. It supports implementation-security assessment of cryptographic components, secure nodes and cyber-physical systems.
